Are We Our Brother's Keeper?

There is one universal ideal, and that is love .   The only role for any religion is in leading the world toward the understanding that, “thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and thy neighbor as thyself”. No one may ever legislate goodness into the soul of anyone else. Only by building into the souls of people who desire goodness can anyone create change.   Otherwise it is only whether people will be law-abiding or law-breaking people. We each must do our part.   All true believers should contribute to creating a better future on the earth. Everyone that fails to contribute, fails in their portion of service.   This is a divine calling to be taken up by every individual. That we may collaborate and contribute to all that was set forth by God, with prayer-power and all blessings, influencing and encouraging other souls in love. When we create opportunities for us to cooperate together and apply our unique gifts we create a channel for the Father's love, the Fathe

The Mighty Force of Creativity

What we may create with our days and with our lives depends on how we apply our selves to truth, life, light and eternity.   Yes, the flesh is often weak and seems to work against us, but the Spirt is alive and gives energy and strength to forces that motivate us. When we apply our selves to that which brings joy, peace and contentment, we feel stronger.   Our mission is to be the words and deeds of the Almighty Creator in ‘creating’ His kingdom on earth.   We are free to exert energy in creating, whether music, art, writing or homemaking. Especially important is our mission to ‘create’ in the lives of those dependent upon us for direction and those looking to us as an example.   As seekers we look within at our life, our purpose, and our desires, and weigh whether they fulfil our mission to BE the glory of the Almighty Creator, or whether they cave to the forces of self-gratification.   In the Almighty Creator is the strength to keep going, keep creating.   Depending on our se

2020 Is Not The Year To Be Bull-headed, But To Show Mercy

What is going on in the world? This is what Isaiah said: When God’s wrath is on the police forces and communities are being destroyed, it is because the faithful have esteemed the bull-headed, truth has been silenced and The Lord is angry. Because of the failings of the faithful, grace is withheld and our institutions suffer from their stubbornness. Healing is not possible until our prayers are heard. The Lord will give our institutions over to demise and the bull-headed as long as the faithful are stubborn. Wise leaders are not able to be heard, but the unruly have their way. It seems to be a year of retribution for the purpose of building the kingdom, and chaos and anguish will be measured out in proportion to our disobedience. Isaiah reminds the faithful to wake-up! And exhibit our God-given strength!   Don’t forget that our magnificence is in the Lord, not in political parties or memes or self-righteousness or victim-hood. We must free ourselves from worldly thinking and

An important message to Gen Z

An important message to Gen Z, Many of   you are growing into powerful creative roles as innovators, scientists, engineers and designers that have the ability to enrich or to damage our society in all kinds of new ways.   It is vital that you learn the spiritual truths, so you can use these God-given superpowers for good rather than to unintentionally destroy the souls of others. Our minds are strong creators of reality and what we envision, each thought and each word, has the power to become real.   So I urge you to prompt others to think better! Not with condemnation and arguments, but by persuading with humility, honesty and love. Let the actions that guide your life be grace, mercy and truth. Our actions are driven by our ideals, and our ideals come from how we envision our self and who we believe that we really are. You are a soul created by God, for a purpose.   God equipped us with superpowers which become most evident when they are aligned with the desire of our
Sermon on the Mount Remix Not everyone who prays to God will enter heaven, but only those who do God’s will.   His will was given to us by the prophets and is clear in scripture. In summary, live in alignment with God and by do whatever other people want you to do.   This is the way that leads to eternal life, and few find it. God gives generously to all those who ask, so seek alignment with God and you will find it. Don’t be anxious or busy yourself chasing worldly things and don't setting your heart on things that don’t matter. Instead seek to be in alignment with God, and then you will be provided everything you need, without worry. You can’t serve worldliness and God, so let your life be full of light by setting your heart on heavenly wealth. Love your adversaries and pray for them.   God sustains wicked people as well as the good, so be perfect like God and show love even to the immoral and contentious.   And don’t resist evil people, but give them whatever they

Little Things that go Right

Yesterday evening we had a great family conversation about how negative thoughts can undermine everything in your life - but positive thoughts have a healing effect.  Grace Anne had the most profound response: "When you pay attention to the little things that go right, you will have more confidnece and more things will go right." How true.  She then challenged us to spend the following day, which was a Saturday, writting down every 20 minutes something that we noticed that went right.  I took the challenge, and here is my list: ·          Saturday morning coffee with my family ·          Cook omelets for Susan and Grace Anne ·          Talking about Christ with Susan ·          Great thoughts in the shower about mindfulness ·          Quick app downloaded to make life eaier ·          My kids cooking ability ·          Interesting college opportunities for Sutter ·          Background music ·          Credit cards are so easy to use ·          Stumbl

A humble soul, where Christ once dwelt

What if the Almighty bestowed on you a miracle, an omnipresent light, a kind of sun in whose light you could see past and future, secrets of hearts and the most hidden and most inward impulses of those around you. Suddenly one day, above your head you see a blazing sun crowned by a circle of thorns; two long thorns clasped it round; and in the center is Eternal Wisdom.  Clouds dim the dazzling light, but an interior voice tells you that the clouds would disappear according to the increasing measure of your purification. This light will stay with you until death, helping you to see not only everything that will help you achieve perfection, but also everything that could help win others for God. This is exactly what befell on a humble and obedient housewife living in Rome in 1790. “For forty-seven years, day and night, at home, at church, in the. street, she saw in this sun, which became increasingly brilliant, all things on this earth both physical and moral; she penetrated to the
